Jaimi Harrison

ARRB

Jaimi Harrison is a Professional Scientist at the Australian Road Research Board (ARRB) working within the Future Transport Infrastructure.  She is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from Monash University in 2018.  

She joined ARRB as part of the summer research internship program. Jaimi has quickly adapted to ARRB’s dynamic research environment, working on projects involving bitumen, polymer modified binders and recycled materials. Her background in chemistry and laboratory work has seen her quickly become a valued member in ARRB’s state-of-the-art laboratory space. Jaimi has experience investigating binders, working closely with both fatigue testing and Dynamic Shear Rheometer research. Alongside Jaimi’s laboratory work she has been embarking on projects in recycled material applications, mainly plastics and crumb rubber, developing knowledge in this key area of sustainability.
